Bryan Lewis Saunders is an artist with impressive dedication. Since 1995, he has drawn at least one Self-Portrait every single day, with no intention of ever stopping. So it’s no surprise that he really committed to his experiment of producing said Self-Portraits under the influence of a different drug daily. His health and brain became compromised within weeks, so now there are bigger lapses between the testing. This video by artist Jillian Mayer perfectly illustrates both my expectations and my (super-limited) experience with regards to jogging. I always imagine it as a pastoral, meditative, potentially endless pleasure cruise. Reality seems to be more of a gauntlet of strangers, cars, weather, and dogshit…although even those problems are nothing compared to my nonexistent stamina. *My significant other jogs 3-8 miles a day, taking around 5 days off per month. It is disgustingly healthy.

As much as I’ve always found Physics fascinating, I seem to lack the ability to grasp its concepts in any meaningful way (Me + Physics = Bewilderment x Awe). So I have to give the web series MinutePhysics major kudos for making me actually understand why there’s not really a fourth, or even a third, dimension. All of their videos are interesting and I feel way more informed than should reasonably be expected from a couple of minutes. My faves:
