The Sasquatch Gang baffles me in that no one has heard of it. It’s hilarious, tappin’ the vein of Anchorman, Hot Rod, and Napoleon Dynamite (look for Jon Heder as a lasertag employee). Justin Long rocks his role as a redneck; Carl Weathers is a frakking Sasquatch expert. Honestly, I should have a whole post about the incarnations of Carl Weathers, although my absolute favorite is his ‘sideways’ version of himself on Arrested Development.
The Sasquatch Gang tells the story of how the lives of grownup losers collide with the lives of adolescent losers, as all the characters become embroiled in the mystery of the Sasquatch. I particularly enjoyed the structure, as the movie flashed around both in time and perspective. For your perusal, Clips!
